Welcome to 127th home page

Welcome to the World Scout Movement started in 1907 by Lord Robert Baden-Powell, and in particular to the 127th (St. Anne's) Bristol Scout Group. Today there are well over 25 million members in 210 countries with over 500,000 in the United Kingdom and around 60 in our Group.

The Scout Association is a youth organisation with all Scout Groups in this Country being separate educational charities.

We, as a Group, offer the complete range of Scouting activities for boys and girls from 6 years of age.

A Beaver Scout Colony for 6 – 8 years,

A Cub Scout Pack for 8 - 10½ years,

A Scout Troop for 10½ - 14 years.

Progression from one section to another is automatic.

We also have a Young Leaders section for Scout's that wish to stay in Scouting in a Leaders capacity with our Group, more information can be found on the Young Leader's page.

All our Leaders give their time voluntarily. Should you wish to help in any way, and at any level, either as a Leader, Assistant Leader, a skills instructor or even a helper, then please speak to a member of the team or send us an e-mail useing the link below.

We look forward to welcoming you and working with you on this ever growing adventure.

(22/04/2012)

A BIG well done to all the Scout's who cooked and served a three course dinner to 70 family and friends this weekend, all said how good it was and what a good job you did. " I would first like to write and say how much we enjoyed the evening last night. We were very impressed with the choice and high standard of the meal cooked, truly worthy of a Chef's badge", from a guest. What more can we add to that?!
